Almost dying five years ago sucked but I’m not dead again this year

I make a post every year about life after almost dying and this year is no different. I’m up to five years not dead and that is so amazing. The past few years, with Covid and some other complications, have been interesting to say the least. I’ve been hard pressed for time with a few things. 1) Work on agency projects after almost 5 years of working on one specific client “on site” and 2) working to help set up new equipment and services for Problematic Design.

Almost dying really, really sucked but I just had a physical and all is well. Health is back to normal, all the boxes are ticked though I still need more lab work. I sincerely hope the work they did to keep me alive was used to help other people – my case was presented at medical conferences before covid. I’ve read up on the post covid physical trauma and it all sounds REALLY familiar to me.

Unfortunately most of what I’ve been working on for Problematic Design is under wraps until next year probably but let’s just say, the equipment is large. If you can figure out what it is from our Instagram post, bonus points to you!

I have done quite a bit of crafting and art making this year. Most of that I’ve shared on instagram and on Lettuce Craft. Here are just a few of the crochet items, I’ve made and will be posting here eventually:

I started re-configuring my crafty space and now have a sturdy desk built into our shelving in the workshop. I discovered a part of my problem with embroidery is the trash card table I was using…

It’s a lot done but not a lot at the same time. I’ve been in my little work from home, workshop bubble for almost two years now. So, how was your 2021? Share your thoughts below!
