Redbubble – Print on Demand

I’ve decided to give Redbubble a try. Print on demand services, for some people, work really well to make some passive income. I’ve had a Zazzle shop for ages but I’ve only ever sold one piece because, well – I just don’t have the time to deal with their ever changing requirements for their product templates and their tagging system. Zazzle wants you to publish constantly to be featured anywhere on the site, and since I already have a full time job plus this site, I don’t have the time.

I stumbled upon Redbubble from other users on SpoonFlower and decided to check them out a few months ago. After placing a few of my designs for sale, and I have to say, it was one of the simplest methods I’ve been through to post to a print on demand service.

Using one of my most popular design from Spoonflower, I uploaded it to Redbubble. My “Spoons in Grey” pattern is the design that is purchased the most:

Once you upload an image, it automatically populates to all the potential products. You edit and enable all the products you want in the same page.

Each of the products has editing features that all work similarly.

Once you edit all the products you want to post, you save on the same page and get a new item in your portfolio.

I really like that there are no templates for you to download and format your art to fit into. You upload and adjust your images as needed for each piece. It makes the process so simple and easy. They did a great job with the user interface, made it really easy to understand what is going on, and how to make your art look best.

Have you tried Redbubble? What do you think of the service?
